These Beta Terms supplement the Muse Terms of Service available at https://musechat.app/terms and the Muse Privacy Policy available at https://musechat.app/privacy. The Service is offered under the names Muse and MuseChat; references to “Muse” in these Beta Terms include both.
They apply only to your use of the pre-release beta version of Muse. If these Beta Terms conflict with the Terms of Service on a matter specific to the beta, these Beta Terms control for that matter.
Muse is currently offered as a private beta to a limited group of invited users who reside in the United States. By participating, you represent that you are a resident of the United States.
Beta access is personal to you and may not be transferred or shared.
We may grant, limit, suspend, or revoke beta access at any time, including if we change or end the beta program.
Beta builds of the Muse iOS application are distributed through Apple’s TestFlight service, which has its own terms that you accept with Apple. If you send feedback or screenshots through TestFlight, Apple receives them; please do not include other people’s stories or personal information in screenshots you submit that way.
The beta is a work in progress.
Features may be incomplete, contain errors, change, break, or become unavailable without notice. We may add, remove, or modify features as we develop the Service.
Stories, transcripts, synthesized audio, and other outputs may also contain errors. You should review your stories before approving or sharing them.
We do not guarantee that the beta will always be available or operate without interruption.
Because the beta is experimental, beta accounts, settings, stories, recordings, or other data may need to be modified, migrated, reset, or deleted as the Service changes. If we need to reset or delete beta stories or recordings, we will give you reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to export or download them first, except where immediate action is required for security or legal reasons. We will handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
The beta is currently provided free of charge.
Muse may provide free or promotional usage time during the beta. Promotional usage:
We will clearly tell you before your use of Muse begins to incur a charge.
We welcome suggestions, ideas, bug reports, and other feedback about the beta (“Feedback”), but you are not required to provide it.
If you provide Feedback, you grant Muse a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that Feedback for the purpose of developing, improving, and operating Muse, without an obligation to compensate you.
The beta may include features, designs, interfaces, or information that have not yet been made public.
Unless Muse has made the information public or given you permission to share it, you agree not to publicly distribute screenshots, recordings, or other non-public details about unreleased beta features.
You are free to talk and post publicly about your own experience with Muse, to share your own stories, recordings, and Content, and to say that you are using Muse, except to the extent doing so would disclose non-public beta features or information belonging to someone else.
You may stop using the beta at any time.
Muse may suspend or end your beta access, or end the beta program itself, at any time.
Ending beta participation does not automatically terminate your Muse account unless we tell you otherwise or your account is separately terminated under the Terms of Service.
Provisions of these Beta Terms that by their nature should continue after beta participation ends, including the Feedback license, will survive.
The beta is experimental and is provided “as is” and “as available.”
The disclaimers and limitations of liability in the Muse Terms of Service apply to your use of the beta.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Muse does not guarantee the preservation of beta data, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Beta Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
We may update these Beta Terms as the beta evolves.
If we make a material change, we will provide reasonable notice and may ask you to review and accept the updated version before continuing to use the beta.
